IPL auction 2020, all team squad IPL history Yuvraj record still intact Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins become the highest selling foreign player in the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction on Thursday. Two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders linked him to his team by bidding him Rs- 15.50 crore.

There was a competition between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore for Cummins to link up with the team, but KKR made the highest bid of Rs 15.50 crore after joining their bidding process. Cummins has become the second most expensive player in IPL history. However, Yuvraj sing’s record is still intact. in 2015, Yuvi was bought by Delhi for Rs 16 crore.

Cummins has taken 32 wickets in 25 IPL matches so far where he gave around six runs per over. Cummins broke the record of Ben Stokes in the case of the most expensive foreign player who was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants in 2017 for Rs 14.5 crore.

Australian players dominated the auction. Famous for his aggressive batting, Delhi capitals and Kings XI Punjab showed great interest for Glenn Maxwell. The Punjab team was successful in adding them to thier team with a bid of Rs 10.75 crore.

Kings XI Punjab participated in the auction in this IPL with the highest amount of Rs 42.70 crore. Both Maxwell and Cummins Withdrew from the previous IPL season.

South African Chris Maurice was also among those who got the big amount in this auction, for which Roy Chalejors Bangalore bid 10 crores. The original cost of West Indies fast bowler Sheldon Cottrell was Rs 50 lakhs, but Kings XI Punjab spent it heartily for him and added the team for eight and a half crores.

Australia limited-overs captain Aron Finch was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 4.4 crore. Chirs Lynn was bought by Mumbai Indians for the original price of two rupees.

Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders made the highest bid of Rs 5.25 crore for England world Champion Captain Eoin Morgan.

Australian fast bowler Nathan colter Nile was added to his team by Mumbai Indians for Rs 8 crore, while Australian wicket-keeper batsman Alex Carrie was bought by Delhi capitals for Rs 2.40 crore.

Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Robin Uthappa was bought by the IPL first season winner Rajasthan Royals for three crores. He participated in this auction with a base price of Rs 1.5 crore. KKR released him last season.

Indian fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat had to suffer a lot of losses in this auction, this player, who got a bid of 11.5 crores in 2018 and Rs 8.5 crores in 2019, was once again bought by Rajasthan Royale, but for just three crores.

Piyush Chawla, who represented the Indian team, was bought by Chennai Super Kings for Rs 6.75 crore. In this auction, Indian Test experts Cheteshwar Pujara and Hanuma Vihari were disappointed for which none of the franchises bid. South African fast bowler Dale Steyn did not find any buyers.

IPL franchises also opened treasures for young players Sunrisers Hyderabad bought Jharkhand Batsman Virat Singh and current Indian Under-19 captain, Priyam Garg, for a similar 1.90 crore rupees, while Indian spinner Varun Chakraborty was bought by Kolkata knight Riders for 4 crores Added to the team.

Indian U-19 batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 2.40 crore. Jaiswal used to sell water puri. Rajasthan leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi Kings XI added to his team four crores. His original price was 20 lakh rupees. A total of 338 players are involved in this bidding process.
